David
M. Thomas began his choral experience at 2,5 years of age as the
youngest member of his mother’s children’s choir program.
He is currently a doctoral candidate in choral conducting at the
Saint Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatoire, in the studio
of Professor Valery Uspensky.
From 1999—2003 David was principle conductor of the Utah Valley
Children’s Concert Choir. He graduated with Bachelor’s degrees in
vocal performance and Russian language (2002) followed by a Master’s
de gree in choral conducting (2003) from Brigham Young University
(Provo, Utah, USA) under the tutelage of Dr. Ronald Staheli.
