Upon graduating from the Saint Petersburg Conservatoire (2003) Vladimir was accepted into the postgraduate program under the tutelage of People’s Artist of the USSR, Professor I. P. Bogacheva. He works as a soloist in the Conservatoire’s Opera and Ballet Theatre and as a soloist in the theatre “Saint Petersburg Opera”.

In 1998, Vladimir won second place in the Belarusian Republic Competition. The artistic success of Vladimir Stepanov is evident from his status as winner of the youth award “Culture and Art” established by the Societal Council of Saint Petersburg under the direction of Governor V. I. Matvienko.
