Kevin WETZEL (baritone) |
Kevin Wetzel is in his first year of graduate school
at the Peabody Institute. Kevin received his BA in music with an
emphasis in piano performance from Westmont College in Santa Barbara,
California, where he was the recipient of the Westmont College Excellence
in Music Award.
His most recent productions include the role of Der Musiklehrer in Ariadne auf Naxos, Giuseppe in The Gondoliers and the title role of Hamlet, Riff in West Side Story, and Ford in Falstaff as part of University of California at Santa Barbara Opera Scenes. He was also given the privilege of creating the role of Sir “Bertie” Bland in the world premier of The Alien Corn by Thomas Benjamin with the Peabody Opera in March of 2005.
